Daniel Schneider’s pencils/roughs (he’s got kind of a more detailed than breakdowns/not as tight as his usual pencils thing going on with these pages that makes it hard to ascribe a standard comics art term to them) for an early page of FOOLS & MADMEN.
No script this time—you guys gotta have something to read when the book finally comes out. And it will come out, because it simply must, because it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever written )and I’ve been saying so for years) and Danny is really bringing his A-game to the project in a way I’ve never seen him do before. I like to think it’s because he genuinely likes the script, but it might be because he knows I know where he lives.
Panels 2 and 3 will be flipped around in the finished art, so that the first person speaking in panel 2 is on the left, and the motion of the fist in panel 3 is left to right. This is the sort of stuff editors need to think about, as well as the sort of thing I wish I could stop thinking about because it absolutely ruins my enjoyment of more comics than I can count (at least seven).
